What if you had no excuses?

Wow. Powerful for sure. She speaks to a common misconception in the church today which makes people think that they cannot be holy. Yet page after page we see the call to “be holy as I am holy” and the like - with words which tell us the LORD will enable and empower us to do so. So which sin, which area of your life is too powerful or tied down which cannot be overcome and broken by the power of the God who can create a universe with a word?

Our desire should be to give it all to Him. If one recognizes what the LORD has done through the Messiah on behalf of us, shouldn’t that love push us, motivate, even control us to give love back to Him?

May the excuses we have to continue in sin fall away so the power of the LORD is allowed to transform us all.

What a interesting way to reach her audience. It was a very powerful message. She presented her message in a very convincing manner. Dito on all your comments. Lets be doers and not just hearers.

I agree she is very talented (see the other video a few days before this if you haven’t as well). I think the words she spoke are important for people to hear. Patty, as you have read in “The Pursuit of Holiness” book and elsewhere people (myself included for a long time) try to rationalize disobedience and lack of holiness and we stay just the way we are. As I have heard a few people say “Jesus didn’t come to make bad men good, he came to make dead men live.”

The transforming power of the message and the messenger is part of the GLORY that GOD allows us to be a part of. She is not only talented but she has a beauty about her a beauty that we can all share in.
