Dear brothers and sisters, I just got the following note from a fellow christian monotheist.
Good afternoon, I’m writing to inform you that the American Family Radio talk network www.afr.net will be discussing and trying to convince us (using the bible) that Jesus IS God. This will take place tomorrow, Aug. 5th at 9:05 central/ 10:05 eastern. They will be taking calls regarding this subject. My husband and I will be listening and may perhaps call in to defend our heavenly Father and His Son. However, defending the truth that Jesus is NOT God is new for us. It would be great if someone from your ministry might be able to call in and provide some thought provoking comments. It can be heard online if there is no station broadcasting near you. Bless you, Cara and Steve
2010 One God Seminar
October 23-24, 2010 * Seattle-Tacoma Area
Don’t miss our 9th annual seminar in this on-going series. This year we have a surprise speaker making a compelling case for the true identity of Jesus. Kermit Zarley, a noted Evangelical leader and author, has crippled Trinitarian arguments including the notion that Jesus was a preexistent God before becoming a man. His 600-page book, The Restitution of Jesus Christ, presents a high hurdle of evidence Trinitarians will not be able to jump. Kermit Zarley has authored other books on Christian themes, including one recommended by Billy Graham. He has produced a series of “Still Here” books to counter the popular rapture-promoting “Left Behind” series. He will present two seminar sessions.

Today Servetus the Evangelical revealed his true identity. He is Kermit Zarley. Below is taken directly from his website:
Once I posted the last clue, on Monday, November 15, which subtly indicated that golf was my favorite sport, there was a flurry of guesses starting early Tuesday. On Thursday morning, November 18, Steve Noel and then James White posted on their websites that it was me. Due to their posts, in the closing hours that day several dozen websites posted the same.
Introductory Remarks
When we first started kingdomready.org we developed a static website which combined ministry related content with web resources primarily focused on evangelism. Our motto was and continue to be “helping people to get ready for the kingdom.” However, once people had sufficiently explored the website (usually after about a week) we noticed that for many there was not a need or desire to continue visiting the site (other than once a week to download the Sunday sermon or watch the web-cast). At this point I asked JohnnyO what we could do to increase traffic and bring more people in. He suggested that what people are looking for is not merely static content but a changing website where people could interact through conversation. We discussed the various ways that this was done (message boards, guest books, blogs, podcasts, etc.) and decided that the mechanism that best suited our needs was to have a blog. The original conception was simple: we wanted to have a section of kingdomready that was alive and changing on a regular basis. It was (and still is) our desire to have a new blog post every other day. Beyond this, we did not really have guidelines in place for what the blog posts should contain.

I am very excited to have started a brand new radio show last Sunday (Jan. 4, 2009) called Truth Matters. (Thanks Victor for coming up with that catchy name). Truth Matters is hosted by me (Sean Finnegan) and broadcasts on WHAZ in the Capital Region of New York. The purpose of the show is to pursue biblical truth no matter where it leads. This is done through interviews and conversation with guests (a different one each week). The show will air each Sunday morning at 9:00 am and cover the following areas:
WHAZ AM 1330
Albany, Rensselaer, Troy,
WBAR FM 94.7
Glens Falls, Lake George, Saratoga
WMYY FM 97.3
Schenectady, Schoharie, Pittsfield
WHAZ FM 97.5
Hoosick Falls, Bennington, North Adams

The Isolated Members Ministry (IMM) is a project of the Church of God General Conference that seeks to identify and minister to people with a tie to the Church of God and its teachings who do not live near to any congregation holding to these truths.
The IMM’s Case Statement is:
“There have always been a significant number of isolated members that share a like precious faith and common heritage with the Church of God. They have spiritual needs that cannot all be met by churches of other denominations that may be in their area. The Isolated Members Ministry purpose is to identify isolated members of the Church of God, discover their needs, and develop strategies for meeting those needs. The Isolated Member Ministry invites pastors and churches join with the IMM to seek out and bless the lives of isolated Church of God people.”

I just received this email from David Krogh, who is a leader in Lord’s Harvest International (the missionary wing of the Church of God Abrahamic Faith). They been actively working in Haiti spreading the gospel of the kingdom and the creed of Jesus for years and there are a number of churches there connected with their ministry. (For more on the COG’s work in Haiti, click here). The saints there are in dire need. Here is what their Haiti contact said (please note, the pictures were originally attachments, I inserted them in the email body):
Thank you so much for your recent e-mail. That proves you really care about me and my people in Haiti. I really appreciate you in the Lord for love and compassion.

Don’t forget to enter the coupon code JULY2008. Here is a description from ChristianAudio.com:
“My most usual method is this simple attention, an affectionate regard for God to whom I find myself often attached with greater sweetness and delight than that of an infant at the mother’s breast. To choose an expression, I would call this state the bosom of God, for the inexpressible sweetness which I taste and experience there.” This is how “Brother Lawrence” describes his constant practice of speaking with and reflecting upon God amidst the mundane tasks of life. Nicholas Herman (c. 1605-1691) was born in Lorraine, France, and served as a cook and shoe repairer at a Carmelite monastery. He was only a lay member of the order, and walked with a limp from injuries incurred as a soldier, yet his private thoughts provide a wellspring of devotional insight and refreshment.
In a few weeks, June 6-8, we will be having an evangelism conference at Living Hope in Latham, NY. All are welcome to attend and can register online (click here). It should be a great time to dig in to the Scriptures to understand the biblical gospel and how it was preached. Then we will be working on the question of how to preach the same message in the context of 21st century western civilization. So far our schedule is as follows:
